Don't miss Dispatch performing at Radio City Music Hall on October 5 at 8PM!
Dispatch, one of the most successful independent rock bands, announced today that they will embark upon the Circles Around The Sun Tour, in support of Circles Around The Sun, their first studio album in twelve years, releasing on August 21.
Circles Around The Sun is an eclectic all-American rock and roll record that delivers the gutsy storytelling, compelling songwriting and radiant harmonies that has earned the band fans throughout countless countries.
Dispatch will be offering live audio downloads of every show on the North American leg of the Circles Around The Sun Tour within 48 hours of the show ending. Every ticket purchased comes with a FREE download of that particular show. Attending fans will be able to redeem the bar code number on their physical ticket for a download of the performance they attended (fans MUST keep their ticket stubs in order to do so). More details of this program, including the web redemption location, to follow.
Dispatch has always been a band that has stood up and rallied its fans behind causes that challenge the status quo. This time out the band will donate $1 from every concert ticket sold on the Circles Around The Sun Tour to its Amplifying Education initiative. Over the last year, Dispatch's Amplifying Education campaign has engaged over 700 fan volunteers in nearly 4,000 hours of service to improve schools across North American and Europe; collected over 10,000 book donations to support local literacy programs through Better World Books; and raised over $250,000 through a portion of ticket sales, benefit shows, and fan-to-fan outreach at shows to support local education programs like City Year and Teach for America. Dispatch fans are also encouraged to continue bringing book donations to shows this fall to support local literacy programs. For more information please visit www.dispatchmusic.com/giving_back.
